		<description><![CDATA[The San Lorenzo Ruiz Choir (SLRC) is a Filipino New York-based music ministry that grew out of its devotion to San Lorenzo Ruiz. The first of its 2010 events, &#8220;THEN CAME SUNDAY&#8221; is a musical interpretation of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, to be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at St. Lucy&#8217;s Catholic Church located at 344 East 104th Street, New York, NY. Anticipated mass immediately follows at 6 pm. For tickets, call 646.483.4465 or 347.420.7807, or email slrc.1000@gmail.com. Proceeds go towards supporting Caritas Manila and their ongoing typhoon rehabilitation efforts, through their authorized representative Ayala Foundation USA. Funds raised will also help support SLRC’s music ministry. Through music, the choir aims to spread love for the Eucharist and devotion to San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint.
