Hey everyone,
Two real quick reminders:
1) Apostolist is holding our final Theology on Tap this Sunday after the 5:15 pm mass at St. Paul’s.
The Question Box: Everything you always wanted to ask someone with a theology degree, but were afraid to ask.
Sunday, June 22, 6:30pm
St. Paul the Apostole Parish Center, Rm 202
–Good food and drink, plus a chance to discuss your most burning questions with our own Fr. Gil Martinez
–And please, if you can, bring one or two non-perishable food items to benefit the parish’s Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
–Plus, get ready for a preview of our upcoming “Summer in the City” series.
2) And don’t forget St. Paul the Apostle’s 150th-anniversary Night Under the Stars celebration:
“150 years ago, the Church of St. Paul the Apostle was founded and a dynamic faith community sprung forth. Over the years, a rich history of art, music and worship were built, growing with a vibrant, diverse parish. On Friday, June 27, 2008, starting at 7pm, we will celebrate our 150th anniversary with a Night Under the Stars, an event featuring performances by both Ricardo Herrera of the San Francisco Opera and the St. Paul Singers, tours of our historical landmark church, majestic historical art, Openings - a young emerging artists’ exhibition -and a sumptuous Tuscan buffet.”
Tickets $80 per person. For more information, or to reserve tickets, visit www.stpaultheapostle.org/150th/stars.html or call 212-315-0918.
