Hi Reynor, attending a traditional mass is excellent, any chance this can be arranged for Sparta, NJ? Last time I attended a full latin mass was in the island of Santorini in a small old stone church in Greece in 1992! — I still remember my latin — I grew up attending latin masses in my days growing up 1960s-1970s in the Philippines. The Latin mass we attend was a regular mass not a high holiday mass. I missed that. Not sure if I can understand everything after these many years of non latin masses!

I was able to participate in one at St. Agnes Church. (I am planning to go back there and if I can get a go ahead I will be posting pictures of the celebration here.)
It was such an experience. I have always wondered how it was and how lucky are those who have experienced it, thanks to our Holy Father it is now more acessible.

I am sure it (Latin) will all come back to you.

If it can be arranged in Sparta, I dont see it as an impossibility, the motu propio states (Art. 5. õ 1) “In parishes, where there is a stable group of faithful who adhere to the earlier liturgical tradition, the pastor should willingly accept their requests to celebrate the Mass according to the rite of the Roman Missal published in 1962,…”

Maybe we can organize a group to put in the request, what do you think? Or we can find a parish that offers the Tridentine Mass and go together.
